The SMI Mini Fire Poker / Billy Lifter Tool by Slot Me In™ is a simple and effective tool especially developed for our SMI Aussie Bush Telly Stove™ XP & SS models. More specifically it was designed to remove and replace the SMI Aussie Bush Telly Grill SS™ (“grill”) from the SMI Aussie Bush Telly Stove™ (“stove”) through the square locating hole on one side of the “grill” when hot without the need for using gloves. Being made from 6mm x 6mm solid square 304 food grade stainless steel it wont spin in the 8mm x 8mm square hole on the edge of the “grill” and allows for easy removal or replacement of the “grill” to or from the” stove” when required.

It has a multitude of other handy applications such as being a “micro” fire poker for our range of rocket stoves, bush telly stoves, pocket stove and The Wedge™ Hibachi Grill Kit™ to name a few. A simple squared return “handle” end enables ergonomic use in one hand and the angled “pointed end” forms the “fire poker” as well as a secure “crook” for lifting billys and kettles (with swing over looped bale type wire handles) to and from cook up. It also helps with the extraction of tent pegs too if required. We’re sure you will find a multitude of handy uses for it too out and about camping and cooking over “FLAME ‘N’ COALS™” in the great outdoors “BACKYARD, BUSH or BEYOND™”.

The SMI Mini Fire Poker / Billy Lifter tool measures 305mm L x 80mm W x 6m H and weighs just 118 grams (0.118kg) and is 100% Australian made from 100% Australian materials by Slot Me In™. It comes as a standard inclusion in our  SMI Aussie Bush Telly Stove SS™ Combo Kit a great package we put together for “twig stove” type compact cooking outdoors.
