The SMI Bush Telly Stove SS Grill™ is a specific grill plate made to fit both models of the SMI Aussie Bush Telly Stove™ “XP” or “SS”. Proudly 100% Australian made from 100% Australian material consisting of 3mm thick food grade 304 stainless steel. It measures 200mm L x 200mm W and 3mm H and weighs just 704 grams (0.704kg).

Its unique and original design of angled grill slots for cooking over “FLAME ‘N’ COALS™” allows for perfect cooking every time be it snags, vegetables, fish, or your preferred produce and is easy to clean being dishwasher safe and immersible in your washing up soapy water as well. Being stainless steel there is no seasoning required and it won’t rust either. A special feature of the “grill” is the innovative and unique “central cross” and 8 other “SLOT LOCATING” positions cut into the grill (CNC precision laser cut) to secure it into position on top of the “cookware support bars” of the SMI Aussie Bush Telly Stove™ “XP” or “SS” models. Once in position the grill is positively located and cannot slip off or dislodge. To remove the grill there is a neat laser cut square hole (8mm x 8mm) in one side of the grill whereby our SMI Mini Fire Poker / Billy Lifter Tool™ can be inserted to remove or replace the grill when hot (without the need for gloves) or you can use heat resistant leather safety gloves also, available here at Slot Me In™. These two later accessories ( “fire poker/tool” & “gloves”) are included in our SMI Aussie Bush Telly Stove SS™ Combo Kit along with the “grill”,  a great little compact combo kit we’ve put together for cooking outdoors “BACKYARD, BUSH or BEYOND™”.
