Made in two different material options, 3mm thick Xlerplate™ Tru-Spec™ steel and 3mm thick 304 18/10 stainless steel (food grade) this new full grill is specifically designed to suit THE WEDGE FIRE PIT™ models 450, 600, 900, 450XPWB, 600XPWB, 900XPWB, Tourer Fire Pit™, Wombat Fire Pit & Camp Cooker™, Aussie Explorer™ 500, Aussie Explorer™ 600 and Wedge Fire Pit™ 500 (Deck ‘N’ Patio™).
Fully 100% Aussie made from 100% Aussie materials by Slot Me In™ this full grill has 2 ergonomic handles flared out from the sides for easy lifting on or off the fire pit. It has 2 downward folds also which enable it to be located on The Wedge Fire Pit™ 450, 600 & 900 base models without the need for cookware support bars. The downward folds keep it secure and located and it can be slid along the top safely to access the fire below when more fuel is required.
Made for a lifetime of enjoyment it will also support billy’s, pots, saucepans, skillets, camp ovens and other cookware making it a versatile addition to your outdoor cookware. It even can be used directly over a ground fire with the addition of an optional pair of hot plate legs which we also manufacture and stock.
Precision CNC laser cut from a single piece steel (in the respective material options) it is then brake press folded for superior strength, rigidity, performance and function. It will become a must have accessory for your chosen model of The Wedge Fire Pit™. Another unique feature with the use of a full baking dish below (to catch the fat dripping off a roast) is that it can be used in a standard 600mm wide oven as a raised baking or roasting tray/trivet also, so it becomes an accessory for home cooking as well. More original innovation, design, form, function and versatility from Slot Me In™.
It measures 450mm L x 435mm W x 85mm H is 3mm thick and weighs 3.5kg. With the Xlerplate™ Tru-Spec™ option being a raw steel finish you treat it and season it as for cast iron cookware and the more it’s used the better it gets. The stainless steel option is cared for in much the same way as stainless steel cookware in your kitchen at home.
