The brand new SLOT ME IN™ Sombrero Shelf™ has been specifically invented and developed for the SLOT ME IN™ Aussie Volcano Chiminea™. Made from the exact same material as the Aussie Volcano Chiminea™ 5mm thick BlueScope XLERPLATE™ TRU-SPEC™ steel it’s 100% Aussie made from 100% Aussie material by a 100% Aussie owned business.
It simply slips over the top of the Aussie Volcano Chiminea™ and “WEDGES” into position forming a surrounding steel cooking and warming table or shelf as we call it. This shelf when the Aussie Volcano Chiminea™ is in use with a fire will heat up. Fry pans, saucepans and the like can be rested on it up against the main fire body. Depending on the size of the fire in and proximity of the cookware to the Aussie Volcano Chiminea™ on the Sombrero Shelf™ you will be able to cook or keep food warm on it using cookware like fry pans and metal food storage containers such as aluminium bbq trays and the like while still cooking directly on top of the Aussie Volcano Chiminea™ with the aid of two existing cooking accessories, the SMI Cooking Hob™ and SMI Trivet™ and another yet to be released major accessory which will set the Aussie Volcano Chiminea™ apart from all others and make it the most versatile chiminea available. (More on this later in the month).
The SMI Sombrero Shelf™ measures 750mm square with a downward folded edge of 60mm and weighs 26.5 kg. On the two sides and rear are 9 equally spaced holes each (27 in all) from which you can hang cookware with the aid of butchers hooks, a very handy feature.
When the Aussie Volcano Chiminea™ is NOT IN USE the SMI Sombrero Shelf™ makes a handy shelf for entertaining allowing you to rest food or drinks on. Coupled with another the yet to be released (later this month) new accessory the SLOT ME IN™ Aussie Umbrella Support™ which will hold an umbrella centred in the Aussie Volcano Chiminea™ creating a shady place to gather around for drinks and nibbles on those warm summer days when a fire isn’t required.
