Simply put the SMI Aussie Rocket Stove™ (XP, SS & AE models), SMI Aussie Bush Telly Stove™ (XP & SS models) and the SMI Aussie Pocket Stove™ (only available as a single model in stainless steel) each have an optional size water fillable aluminium undertray available for them. This undertray provides a flat and stable base to set up and operate your chosen “SMI stove” on, be it “rocket, bush telly or pocket stove” and will catch any small embers that may fall out onto it and extinguish them if water filled.

Each undertray is made from durable non rusting light weight aluminium and will fit into the respective storage bags of each product (excluding the pocket stove). On uneven, rocky or lose ground the undertray will enable a stable set up of your chosen “SMI™ stove” and if used on grass or timber decking and filled with water will protect the grass or timber below from scorching or burning, provided the undertray is maintained full of water during the burning process.

• SMI Aussie Bush Telly Stove (models XP & SS) Undertray™ 305mm in diameter x 15mm H and weighs 199 grams (0.199kg).
• SMI Aussie Pocket Stove (only one model available in stainless steel) Undertray™ 155mm in diameter x 15mm H and weighs 59 grams (0.059kg).
