Put very simply this new accessory for the Aussie Volcano Chiminea™ is simply that, a removable door with an adjustable venting daisy wheel to control the amount of burn, heat and smoke by controlling the oxygen draft intake into the chiminea.
It is specifically designed to be used with our “BIG” new accessory not too far away now for the Aussie Volcano Chiminea™, stay tuned. It’s made from the same steel as the chiminea, 5mm thick BlueScope XLERPLATE® TRU-SPEC™ steel.

There are no hinges to catch, bind or maintain, so when removed there is no indication that a door was there. This keeps the nice clean lines of the Aussie Volcano Chiminea™ unaltered. Two simple lugs on the rear of the door locate it, so when installed it will sit flat against the chiminea body with a full 25mm sealing overlap coverage all the way around. It has to be lifted vertically to be removed and an ergonomic handle is incorporated for this. Note: care should be taken and heat resistant gloves used when removing it or installing it off or onto the chiminea when there is a fire burning. Installation is the reverse of removal, simply locate the lugs over the bottom edge of the opening in the chiminea and push down. Once installed it will remain in position even if a log inside rolls forward and rests against the door.
The daisy wheel allows closure or opening of the vent and has a handy lug laser cut in it to allow the SLOT ME IN™ Multi-Tool™ to engage it and move the wheel.
Another great safety feature is if you have to leave the fire for any reason you can install the door, close the vent and there is no risk of coals or firewood falling out if still burning while you attend to something else, just like you would a closed fire box inside your house used for heating.
