Hot on the heels of our earlier release this month of the EQUILATERAL FIRE PIT™ XP6006 we are pleased to announce its stainless steel equivalent the EQUILATERAL FIRE PIT™ SS6006. This new model is the splitting image of the model released earlier this month except it’s made from stainless steel.
The Equilateral Fire Pit™ SS6006 is based on our original Equilateral Fire Pit™ (Solid Sided™) model we released back in August of 2016. The obvious difference is the size, a full 25% reduction from the original model and also the material it’s made from being stainless steel.
The Equilateral Fire Pit SS6006 is made from Australia’s finest 6mm thick 304 grade stainless steel, precision CNC laser cut and is a true 100% Aussie made from 100% Aussie material product by Slot Me In™ a 100% Aussie owned company.
The unique and original design is based on an equilateral triangle just as our original model is and the scaling down in size allows for a smaller fire pit for use in small patio, yard or deck areas where a larger model may be too big. All the features of our larger model are carried over to this new model including the lowered ends allowing for drawing in of oxygen for a hot and efficient burning fire to all sit around and enjoy the warm ambience by. We haven’t forgotten about those who love to cook over fire as well, later this month we will have 2 new combo grill / hot plate options that will be available for purchase for use specifically for this model and the Equilateral Fire Pit XP6006™ as well.
Set up the Equilateral Fire Pit™ SS6006 measures 615mm W x 575mm D x 260mm H and weighs 24kg. It consists of 4 pieces in total, 3 sides and a drop in base. Most importantly “NO TOOLS OR FIXINGS ARE REQUIRED FOR ASSEMBLY” it just “SLOTS” together in a matter of seconds as our name suggests SLOT ME IN™. It packs “FLAT” too into 4 pieces and can be stowed away when not in use, if so required.
Important to note too that our Equilateral Deck ‘N’ Patio Trolley™ & Equilateral Water Fillable Undertray™ both suit this new smaller model fire pit enabling it to be safely used on a timber deck when both are used together and the tray maintained full of water whilst the fire is burning at all times.
So what’s with the name? Good question and the answer is pretty simple, “SS” standing for stainless steel and “6006” being broken down to “600” for 600mm width size with the following “6” indicating the thickness of the material (stainless steel) used.
Next month we will have a larger version of our original Equilateral Fire Pit™ for release, (a full 25% increase in size over the original this time). This new model coming in September 2020 will be over 1000mm wide, a truly huge fire pit made from 8mm thick steel too and suit a permanent “INFIREDSCAPE™” base to enjoy it in siting around its warm ambience.
Another heads up too look out for 3 new camping combo models of the Equilateral Fire Pit™ in the 600mm width size, all in 3 different material options 4mm thick Xlerplate™ Tru-Spec™ steel, 4mm thick 304 grade stainless steel and our “FULL” 100% aluminium option as well made from a combination of 6mm and 8mm components which previewed on our social media earlier this month. All 3 models have been in production and testing now for several years, time to let the cat out amongst the pigeons as to speak with camping combo’s “OUT OF THE SQUARE” and truly original and unique .
