The SLOT ME IN ™ Aussie Rocket Stove Windshield XP ™ consists of 3 separate pieces of BlueScope XLERPLATE ™ TRU-SPEC ™ 1.6mm thick steel that assemble together using our “SLOT & TAG“ method (the same one as on the SLOT ME IN ™ Aussie Rocket Stove XP ™). In other words it requires NO TOOLS OR FIXINGS FOR ASSEMBLY and just “SLOTS” together in a matter of seconds, forming a 3 sided windshield that again “SLOTS” neatly onto the matching slots on the “COOKWARE CROSS SUPPORT BARS” on the SLOT ME IN ™ Aussie Rocket Stove XP ™.
Proudly manufactured by us at SLOT ME IN ™ using Australia’s finest BlueScope XLERPLATE™ TRU-SPEC ™ steel it’s again another 100% Aussie made with 100% Aussie materials product that expands the use and versatility of the SLOT ME IN ™ Aussie Rocket Stove XP ™.
So what does it do and what advantages are there in using it? Firstly it’s fantastic in windy conditions and helps block the wind from taking away the heat from the stove when in use, thus speeding up cooking time, especially when you want to boil the billy for a cuppa at camp. It’s also great as a splash guard, especially when cooking a meal in a low fry pan or skillet. Also in being a total FLAT PACK kit it fits in the optional canvas storage bag you can purchase separately that will hold both the rocket stove and windshield, keeping your whole kit together.
