Slot Me In™ stainless steel solid bar grills are available in 8 width sizes to suit your individual needs and are designed and manufactured by us to suit our wide variety of fire pits for direct cooking of food on or for supporting cooking vessels such as billy’s, kettles, camp ovens, fry pans and the like on over a fire. All 8 models (widths available) are 485mm long which makes them ideal for not just our fire pits but for use on common 2, 3, 4 & 6 burner gas bbq’s as well.
Made from 100% Australian material (304 food grade stainless steel) in a solid 6.3mm diameter round bar they are fully fusion welded at all contact points. The bars run at 25mm centres (on the cooking surface) and have 3 supporting & spacing bars underneath, one at each end with the other centred all at an opposing 90 degrees. The 25mm spacing allows for easy cleaning after use as well as greater direct heat transfer from the source for cooking efficiency too. They come in a natural satin finish (not electroplated and polished as this only adds unnecessary chemicals into our environment and additional manufacturing costs) and are ready for use.
With the addition of our optional innovative Slot Me In™ “Bar Grill Support Legs” (4 piece set) you can use our stainless steel bar grills to cook on directly over a ground fire as well. The 4 legs just simply slot over the upper cooking surface bars at each corner and support and raise the grill 200mm above the ground and over your ground fire.
