The Slot Me In™ UFO 550™ Full Hot Plate Combo Kits are available in two metal options. “XP” & “SS” with the “XP” model being 5mm thick BlueScope Xlerplate™ Tru-Spec™ steel and the “SS” model being 5mm thick 304 food grade stainless steel. Both are 100% Australian made using 100% Australian materials by a 100% Australian owned and operated family business, Slot Me In™. Each full hot plate and the 3 support legs in each kit are precision CNC laser cut.
What’s with the name UFO? well it stands for “ULTIMATE FRYING OBJECT™” and the 550 represents the diameter of the cooking disk in millimetres. Each metal option (“XP” & “SS”) has 3 supporting legs (in the same metal as the hot plate) that simply just “SLOT” into position as our name suggests Slot Me In™ with “NO TOOLS OR FIXINGS REQUIRED FOR ASSEMBLY OR DISMANTLE”. The 3 removable support legs raise the full circular hot plate cooking surface 200mm above the ground forming a stable cooking platform over a small ground fire below when inserted in the matching slots on the circular cooking surface.
Cooking can be accommodated directly on the circular hot plate or in fireproof cooking vessels supported directly on the hot plate such as fry pans, griddles, camp ovens, billys, kettles, saucepans and much more.
The circular full hot plate component of the kit can also be used independently on “flatpack” fire pits such as these from Slot Me In™, The Wedge Fire Pits™ (models 450, 500, 600 & 900 variants), Equilateral Fire Pits™ (Camper & “Deck ‘N’ Patio™” 600 variant models), Wombat 500 Fire Pit™, Ground Fire Box Guard 500™ as well as in the Weber 22-inch Kettle BBQ making it extremely versatile.
Included in each kit (“XP” & “SS”) are the following items:

- 1 x Universal Fire Poker/Camp Oven Lifting Tool
- 1 x Stainless Steel “Grip N Flip” BBQ Tool

Each kit when packed in the bag measures 670mm W x 630mm L x 30mm H and weighs 11.8kg in total.
