Each piece in the SMI Oz Iron Kookware™ range is designed for use from “CAMP FIRE TO STOVE TOP”, truly real “FLAME ‘N’ COALS™” cookware. In fact, they are specifically made to be used on all heat sources including the following:

SMI Oz Iron Kookware™ is made from pure Aussie iron (with no added artificial toxic chemical coatings) just healthy and sustainable cookware that will stand the test of time. Each piece is food grade oil quenched after forming, giving it a smooth and dark finish that’s ready to cook on with just a few simple initial steps prior to its first use.

Seasoning is built up naturally and improves the more you use your SMI OZ IRON KOOKWARE™. No more throwing away scratched and damaged toxic synthetic chemical coated cookware (such as Teflon coated cookware which by the way can’t be used over fire anyway).

SMI OZ IRON KOOKWARE™ is truly buy once and use it for a lifetime and pass it down to the next generation of budding cooks. This keeps our products out of landfill, unlike imported synthetic so called non-stick cookware which commonly end up there when it fails.

Easy on your wrists they are lightweight yet strong, tough, stylish and durable for everyday cooking in your kitchen be it domestic or commercial and for taking with you camping on your next adventure “BACKYARD, BUSH or BEYOND™”.

Depending on the type of cooking you do there are 3 main designs of “pans” to choose from and within the 3 design ranges there are various size pieces to choose from also.

The “SINGLE HANDLE SKILLET RANGE” consists of 2 designs (one with angled sides “ASSH” & the second with rounded sides “RSSH”) each with a single balanced ergonomic handle in proportion to the diameter of the piece. The “DUAL HANDLE SKILLET RANGE” makes up the third design in the range and consists of unique dual copper handles on all but the largest model in the range which has dual steel handles.

All SMI OZ IRON KOOKWARE™ models start with a numbered prefix which represents the outside or top diameter size in mm’s, full specifications and weights can be found with each individual piece in the drop-down box selections under description. All models have a flat base dimension separate from the upper diameter measurement again found with each piece’s individual description in the drop-down box selection.
