Hand forged (blacksmithed) Australian low carbon steel the SMI Oz Iron Diamond Fire Tongs™ are proudly made right here in Australia by Slot Me In™ (SMI). More than just a set of fire tongs they can be used as a fire poker to push, pull and stoke your firewood, lift billy’s, camp ovens and the like to and from your campfire and reposition firewood in your open fireplace or campfire as well.
Measuring 700mm long x 100mmm wide x 20mm high and weighing 0.900kg (900 grams) they are ergonomic and easy to use either with a single hand or both hands together if required and the comfortable oval shaped handles are suitable to use with gloves on also. The simple scissor type action combined with our innovative unique diamond shape pattern at the end allows for secure gripping of your firewood when requiring repositioning. The unique hooks at each end secure your bail arms on billy’s and camp ovens for lifting also as well as forming a point to use as a fire poker when required.
