The SLOT ME IN™ Equilateral Fire Pit™ Undertray is a specific water fillable “Undertray” designed to sit under either model of our SLOT ME IN™ Equilateral Fire Pits™ (see our “Latest News” August 2016 for further information regarding the 2 models of SMI™ Equilateral Fire Pits™available). Previously THE WEDGE FIRE PIT™ 800 (Aurora Oztralis™ model) square Undertray has been able to be used with them.

This new Undertray is a unique triangular shape (that of an equal sided triangle, hence the name equilateral) and mirrors the Equilateral Fire Pit’s™ triangle shape with a slightly larger footprint and is 25mm deep enabling it to be filled with water when in use on timber decking or lawn areas without damaging either provided the tray is filled with water during the fire pit’s use. Note with prolonged fire pit use as with all of our Undertray’s  for specific fire pits that the water in the Undertray will need to be topped up occasionally to allow for some evaporation from the heat output from the fire pit in use. Furthermore no fire pit should ever be left unattended at any stage when in use or used on a day of declared total fire ban and when not required the fire should be properly extinguished. 

The Undertray is manufactured from 100% Aussie made 1.6mm thick mill finish aluminium with double folded safety edges for strength and safety with no sharp edges right here in Australia by SLOT ME IN™. All three intersecting edge points are fully welded so the Undertray can hold water and wont rust being aluminium. The Undertray holds approximately 10.52 litres of water when full. Any ash or embers falling out of the sides of the vented model, the SLOT ME IN™ Equilateral Fire Pit™ Supaflow Sided™ model will extinguish in the water bath created by the water filled Undertray. This safety feature allows burning of the Equilateral Fire Pits™ on timber decks and lawn areas without damage to either as mentioned earlier. 

The SLOT ME IN™ Equilateral Fire Pit™ Undertray has three equal length sides of 990mm each with overall dimensions being 990mm W x 850mm L x 25mm D and weighs 2.2kg.
