The SMI Aussie Tripod Tri Chain Connect™ Kit is designed to attach our SMI UFO 550™ & SMI UFO 600™ series circular hot plates & combo hot plates/grills to the “hook” on the main tripod component (“Head ‘N’ Hook”) on both the “XP” & “SS” variants.
The SMI Aussie Tripod Tri Chain Connect™ Kit consists of a heavy duty closed welded 50mm circular (6mm gauge) stainless steel upper ring with 3 lengths of stainless steel chain (welded closed link and 4mm in gauge) each of 500mm long linked and locked into this upper ring. To connect any of the SMI UFO 550™ or SMI UFO 600™ model circular hot plates or combo hot plates/grills simply slide the second last link of each of the lose 3 chain ends into the 3 corresponding 40mm long slots on the outer circumferences of the SMI UFO 550™ or SMI UFO 600™ and connect the central upper large 50mm connecting ring on to the “hook” end on the “head ‘n’ hook” tripod component.
Instantly with NO TOOLS OR FIXING REQUIRED FOR ASSEMBLY it just “SLOTS” together as our name suggests Slot Me In™ you have an equally weight distributed grill/hotplate or combination of both suspended by 3 chains at 120 degrees apart in the profile of an equilateral triangle hanging from your tripod hook centrally. Your now ready to “KOOKUP™” a feast over the “FLAME ‘N’ COALS™” below.
Included separately in the kit are 3 almost closed (open enough to remove) “S HOOKS” made from 4mm 304 grade stainless steel bar. These hooks are designed to be used with other hanging accessories that have 3 fixed closed loop/link connecting points (in an equilateral pattern spaced at 120 degrees) other than our “SLOT” system as on our SMI UFO 550™ & SMI UFO 600™ products. Some future new products coming from Slot Me In™ will require their use that’s why we have included them in the kit ready for their use when required.
The SMI Aussie Tripod Tri Chain Connect™ Kit measures 550mm L (outstretched) x 50mm W x 10mm H and each of the additional 3 loose hooks measures 90mm L x 15mm W x 4mm H with the entire kit weighing just 0.505kg.
