The SMI Aussie Fire Poker™ 800 series range come in 3 classic designs with each design available in 2 metal options, BlueScope Xlerplate™ Tru-Spec™ steel “XP” or 304 grade stainless steel “SS” to choose from. All our fire pokers are classically “black smithed” with an ergonomic and classic “Shepherds Crook” handle, leading pointed end and return pointed hook.

Our fire pokers are made from 100% Australian steel right here in Australia by Slot Me In™ and designed for simplicity of use and function. We have found an overall 800mm length to be the most ergonomic for use, keeping hands away from the “FLAME ‘N’ COALS™” whist not being too cumbersome or awkward to use for most open fireplaces, camping fire pits, ground fires, chimineas, potbelly woodfired stoves and woodfired pizza ovens.

Each SMI Aussie Fire Poker™ 800 model and metal option as mentioned has a pointed end and pointed return hook for managing and repositioning firewood by both forward pushing or return pulling. The pointed hook end is also very handy for removing or placing billys, camp ovens and the like onto or from your fire as well. The classic “Shepherds Crook” handle is both stylish, timeless, and practical with a positive comfortable hold grip for use and convenient hanging “eye” also.
