A single piece brake press folded fire grate (“cradle”) upper body with two inserted and welded in position legs all fully precision laser cut (only 3 pieces in total forming the finished 1 piece fire grate) giving a full 100mm clearance above the base of the open fireplace floor and a full 120mm high angled “cradle” front and rear to contain the firewood being burnt. It has 33 large aeration cut outs to allow oxygen to be drawn into the base, front & rear of the “cradle” and combine with the firewood to give the most efficient of burns resulting in superior heat output and better burning flame.
