The OZSPIT & BBQ™ Motor Carrier Brackets come in two material options “XP” (a black powder coated finish over a protective prime coated base BlueScope Xlerplate™ Tru-Spec™ steel) and “SS” (a 304 food grade stainless steel). Both are precision CNC laser cut and folded to accept the OZSPIT & BBQ™ spit bars and OZSPIT & BBQ™ 9kg rated spit drive motors. There is a slot on the base of all motor carrier brackets to locate the spring support clamp if required to prevent the bracket from swinging on the support post (when the spring is inverted with thumb squeeze tab ends facing up). With the locating spring support clamp facing down (ie thumb tab squeeze ends) the motor carrier brackets are free to swivel or spin on the support posts to access food and add food off and away from the fire, a very handy way of carving off and away from the fire then returning the “KOOKUP™” back to the fire to continue cooking if so desired. Each motor carrier bracket requires a universal locking spring post clamp (20mm diameter) which is included for use on the solid 20mm diameter vertical support post/ground spike system.
