The OZSPIT & BBQ™ Support Post/Ground Spike Stands are available in 3 metal options “XP” ( treated Xlerplate™ Tru-Spec™) with a protective powder coated primed base and black powder coated satin top coat finish), “SS” (stainless steel 304 food grade) and “AE” (mill finish aluminium) and are all 100% Australian made using 100% Australian materials. All measure 300mm long x 300mm wide at the base and the base plate thickness is 6mm for all 3 options. Each has a 300mm high square tube riser that holds the support post/ground spike vertical. There are 4 outer (10mm diameter) holes at all the corners of the base plate to enable pegs to be driven in if need be for extra stability in soft unstable ground and the ground spike can be driven through too as there is a central hole at the bottom of the vertical tube riser (in the base plate) enabling this. 4 x  6mm diameter, 200mm long  galvanized tent pegs are supplied (weighing 0.400kg combined) with each OZSPIT & BBQ™ Support Post/Ground Spike Stand. Where the OZSPIT & BBQ™ Support Post/Ground Spike Stand comes into its very own is where and when you can’t drive the ground spike into the ground such as on concrete, paving, decking, rocky ground and the like. Here simply insert the “ground spike” into the vertical riser tube on the “stand” and counterbalance the “stand” (large 300mm x 300mm base plate) with anything from firewood, rocks, pavers, bricks and the like placed on it and you can use your portable OZSPIT & BBQ™ portable spit rotisserie literally anywhere “BACKYARD, BUSH or BEYOND™”.
