The OZSPIT & BBQ™ Large Hot Plate & Grill Adapter Bracket is a unique interchangeable attachment “adapter” that allows our larger hot plates and grills to be used supported on the central 20mm diameter “ground spike” OZSPIT & BBQ™ portable cooking system over fire. Its 100% Australian made using 100% Australian materials too, just like our hot plates and grills. The “adapter bracket’s” upward facing ends are simply engaged into the 2 locating 11mm diameter holes found on the ends of the upward facing sides on our hot plates and grills at right angles (with the bracket going above the top of the hot plate or grill) then pulled back down where it will engage and lock. It is then slid down over the top the “ground spike” supported first underneath with a 20mm OZSPIT & BBQ™ Stainless Steel Support Post Locking Spring Clamp in the desired position which is included with each “adapter bracket”. All “adapter brackets” are a raw mild steel finish suitable for use over a fire, painting them would be a wasted and unnecessary expense as it would only burn off and not be environmentally friendly. To prevent any rusting if left outdoors exposed for any period of time simply wipe over the “adapter bracket” with any edible food oil  (we use coconut oil as it is what we treat all of our raw steel hot plates and grills with for storage once cleaning them after production). This “adapter bracket” will suit all of our previous edged hot plates and grills for use on the OZSPIT & BBQ™ 20mm “ground spike” portable cooking system and then return them for use in a convention manner over a fire pit or bbq if need be and when desired. It also makes all the hot plates and grills easy to store such as in our OZSPIT & BBQ™ Large Hot Plate & Grill Heavy Duty Storage Bag.
