The OZSPIT & BBQ™ Stainless Steel 304 Food Grade Spit Bars come in 4 length options 600mm, 800mm, 1000mm & *1200mm (all are 12mm in diameter) to suit both the OZSPIT & BBQ™ spit drive motors and OZSPIT & BBQ™ spit drive motor carrier brackets. Each spit bar is made from a single piece of 12mm diameter 304 food grade stainless steel precision CNC machined with one end pointed for loading the produce on and the other end machined to locate in the spit drive motor and motor carrier bracket. All OZSPIT & BBQ™ spit bars are proudly 100% Aussie made from Aussie 100% material and truly Australian.

Note: The *1200mm long spit bar is designed to be used with a second 20mm diameter vertical post support/ground spike in parallel combination including the OZSPIT & BBQ™ Spit Bar Helper Guide Bracket on this second ground spike over your ground fire or fire pit, giving a greater cooking capacity with the load still being 9kg or less in total (including produce, the spit bar and any accessories used on the spit bar all combined). Often with a big “KOOKUP™” it  mightn’t exceed 9kg (frustrating in the least) in total weight however the space on a 1000mm long spit bar mightn’t be long enough, that’s why we introduced the OZSPIT & BBQ™ 1200mm long spit bar and Spit Bar Helper Guide Bracket further increasing your cooking capacity and efficiency. Care should be taken loading and unloading the spit bar over your fire and we recommend 2 people together in unison perform this task both wearing appropriate heat protection from the fire being cooked over and heat resistant safety leather gloves also. A slight amount of downward pressure (pointed end of the spit bar) on the “helper bracket” is required to achieve the desired cantilever effect.

 (* Note: The 1200mm long OZSPIT & BBQ™ Spit Bar must be used with a second 20mm diameter OZSPIT & BBQ™ Support Post/Ground Spike in parallel combination. On this second ground spike an OZSPIT & BBQ™ Spit Bar Helper Support Bracket™ and 20mm Stainless Steel Universal Locking Spring Post Clamp must be used together (supplied as a kit). The OZSPIT & BBQ™ Spit Bar (pointed end) must overhang no less than 50mm over the open guide channel on the OZSPIT & BBQ™ Spit Bar Helper Support Bracket/Stainless Steel Universal Locking Spring Post Clamp combination and we recommend 2 people in unison load and unload the spit bar on and off the fire using appropriated protection from the heat of the fire being cooked on and using also heat resistant leather safety gloves as well.
