Description & Specifications: Modular 900mm long x 300mm diameter stainless steel flue kit sections that join together (crimped end to smooth end) and are riveted together (stainless steel rivets supplied) for use with the SLOT ME IN™ OPEN FIREPLACE STEEL FIRE BOX INSERT, of which a minimum of one or more are required to suit your desired flue height. Made from 304 stainless steel, 2B finish and 0.55mm sheet thickness and approximately 4kg each length. Note crimped end face down for all joining purposes (for any saps and resins from the firewood used to run back internally and not leak). As a guide the finished flue height needs to be 300mm higher than any surrounding roof structure if it is within 3.6m in accordance with the building code of Australia. Please check local laws as this might vary. Simply work out your total flue height required, divide by 0.9 and your answer rounded up to the next full number is the amount of 300mm diameter flue sections you will require.
