At Slot Me In we don’t rest and assume everything we invent is perfect, we know there is no such thing as perfection, but that doesn’t stop us striving for it. From time to time after extensive testing and field trials even on the simplest of accessories we add small changes that improve the efficiency, ease of use and safety to our existing products along with inventing new ones. It’s what makes us different, we lead from the front where others just follow and copy. Our original cookware support bars started off as flat bar many decades ago with the invention of the “original” take anywhere “flat pack” fire pit & camp cooker , THE WEDGE FIRE PIT & CAMP COOKER™, then in 2015 (see Latest News & Specials, November 2015) we started laser cutting the bars and added our unique safety notch POZILOCK™ on one of edges of all 6 in the set, facing down when used to secure them safely when supporting all types of cookware from camp ovens to hot plates, etc.
Now, actually back in November 2016 we released without any announcement our latest refinement to these 6 cookware support bars that come with the Ultimate Combo Kit or can be purchased separately. Here we have the new POZILIFT™ feature, the addition of a unique rectangular hole centred in all 6 of the cookware support bars that allows the SMI Multi-Tool™ to be inserted which in turn enables the addition or removal of these bars (we still recommend using the gloves which come with the Ultimate Combo Kit) into the corresponding slots on THE WEDGE FIRE PIT & CAMP COOKER™. Even better still we have kept the price the same and they retro-fit all existing WEDGE FIRE PIT & CAMP COOKER’S™ and come as standard inclusions in the Ultimate Combo Kit.
