Introducing the SMI Aussie Blaze™ Chiminea by Slot Me In™, a unique and original designed chiminea in the form of a conical tapering hexagon. The SMI Aussie Blaze™ Chiminea is proudly 100% Australian made using 100% Australian material, 5mm thick BlueScope Xlerplate™ Tru-Spec™ steel by Slot Me In™.

Precision CNC laser cut then precision CNC folded the unique hexagonal shape tapers from top 175mm (widest point) to bottom 685mm (widest point) and is 1215mm high overall. At the base the 6 legs formed in the design are inbuilt and as such there is no need for a separate stand. The SMI Aussie Blaze™ Chiminea has a fire bed base 140mm above the inbuilt legs and the fire burns on a bed of sand some 40mm deep (supplied) and as such can be used directly on timber decks, paved patios or lawn with little to no heat transmission downwards. The design results in an extremely low centre of gravity and it can’t be accidently knocked over either.

The fire bed base is a huge 610mm wide x 530mm deep (front to back) and the viewing and door opening a cavernous 400mm high x 430mm wide allowing large pieces of firewood to fed inside and providing a large ambient viewing area radiating out a tremendous amount of heat. The door opening is semi panoramic being cut in 3 of the hexagonal sides. Now in keeping with all chimineas in our range the SMI Aussie Blaze™ Chiminea comes with 2 door options (vented & solid), both of which have 2 ergonomic lifting handles with our innovative captive locating lugs. Along with the door options it comes complete with a rain lid, cookware support hob, classic round black smithed 800mm long fire poker, heat resistant leather safety gloves and 20kg of fire bed sand, everything you need except the firewood and food to create a lifetime of enjoyment around the fire.

Of course, in keeping with all of our fire containing vessels like this chiminea, fire pits, rocket stoves and more it’s not only just for fires, with the included cookware hob you can support cookware on top too and use the radiant rising heat to cook with. The cookware hob has 3 raised support bars to hold the cookware yet allow the fire to breath and keep burning without choking. 

When you’ve finished enjoying your fire for the night you can retire after putting on the rain lid and door knowing that no sparks or embers can escape and sleep with peace of mind too.

Made for a lifetime of use and enjoyment from Australia’s finest steel it won’t chip, crack, crumble or shatter like inferior clay and cast iron chimineas do either. Year after year it will continue to give out its warm glowing radiant heat and charming FLAME ‘N’ COALS™ glow.

You may also use one of our Deck ‘N’ Patio™ Corten™ steel trolleys to sit it on for ease of mobility too allowing it to be positioned with the minimum of effort also (we recommend our 1000mm W x 1000mm L deck ‘n’ patio trolley as a minimum size).
