As its name suggests this awesome new accessory for the Equilateral Fire Pit™ allows the SLOT ME IN™ KOOKABOX™ to be used directly on top of the Equilateral Fire Pit™. With the addition of the Kookabox™ you can turn the Equilateral Fire Pit™ into a smoker, pizza oven, baking oven, open grill, spit rotisserie and much more (see our “Latest News” December 2017 to read all about the KOOKABOX™).
Not only can you use this new accessory to allow the Kookabox™ to be used on top of the Equilateral Fire Pit™ it’s also a large hot plate in its own right. The central hole is used to slip the Kookabox™ into position from which it can be swiveled 360 degrees in any direction. The surrounding plate can be used to support fry pans, billy’s, skillets and also directly to bbq on as well. You can even place one of our trivets over the central hole and support a camp oven on it and cook away to your hearts content.
Just like SLOT ME IN™ is a 100% Aussie company so is the steel we use, 100% Aussie 5mm thick BlueScope Xlerplate™ Tru-Spec™ steel in a HR350 grade and its made right here in Oz too. There are 3 downward folded edges that locate it securely in position on the Equilateral Fire Pit™ so it won’t come off in use. Precision CNC laser cut and CNC brake press folded it’s made to last a life time. It can even be turned upside down (with the folded edges facing up and with 3 optional additional legs slotted into the 3 pairs of 11mm diameter holes, be used as a large hot plate over a ground fire).
Truly another original invention and innovation from SLOT ME IN™. Now our Kookabox™ can be used on the AUSSIE VOLCANO CHIMINEA™ for which it was originally invented and also on THE WEDGE FIRE PIT™ 800 & 1100 models (as there is a Kookabox™ Adapter Plate for both of them) and now a fourth SLOT ME IN™ invention the Equilateral Fire Pit™ can now use the Kookabox™.
