This month we release 2 variants of a new “FLAT PACK” fire pit “THE STAR™” fire pit by Slot Me In™. Based on a regular pentagon shape, these five-sided fire pits come in two model options. Firstly, the SOLID SIDED™ model consists of five solid sides and internal raised base. The second model option is the SUPA FLOW™ variant with five sides each vented by 5-star shape cut outs and an internal raised base.
Both models are precision CNC laser cut from Australian 6mm thick BlueScope Xlerplate™ Tru-Spec™ by Slot Me In™ and each consist of 6 pieces (5 sides and a base). Both are 100% Aussie made using 100% Aussie materials and made for a lifetime of enjoyment outdoors.
These original and unique design fire pits by Slot Me In™ draw on our heritage of design innovation and form of function. Each model simply “SLOTS” together as our name suggests, Slot Me In™, NO TOOLS OR FIXINGS ARE REQUIRTED FOR ASSEMBLY.
Inspiration for this design came from the Southern Cross, a 5 STAR constellation seen in the Southern Hemisphere predominantly and figuring on the Australian flag too. Looking into the inky dark star lite sky when out camping viewed from a swag on many occasions, Waz has captured a vision for a fire pit sure to be enjoyed in any INFIREDSCAPE™ to all gather around its warm n cosy ambience.
Each model is further enhanced with all intersecting sides slightly tapering downwards to create a lower visual perspective of the fire being both ascetic and also for function allowing a greater passage of oxygen to the fire for a super-efficient burn.
Each model measures 810mm W x 810mm L x 390mm H when set up. The SOLID SIDED™ model weighs 54.760 kg and the SUPA FLOW™ model weighs 53.760kg.
